Election Notice for Nomination & Voting

Land Management Committee Membership (6 seats)

Nominations are being held on November 23, 2008.  They will be held at the Ts'kw'aylaxw First Nation Band Office Basement.  The nominations will start at 1pm.

Any eligible voter (18 years of age on or before November 2, 2008), whether or not thier are a resident on First Nation Land, is eligible to be elected to the Land Management Committee, except for an Eligible Voter convicted of a corrupt practice in connection with an election.

Voting for those who are nominated will be on December 7, 2008.  the voting will be taking place a the Ts'kw'aylaxw First Nation Band Office Boardroom located at 35100 Hwy 99.  Polls will be kept open from 8am to 8pm.  Ballot counting will occur immediately after the polls are closed.
