The Lillooet Tribal Council (LTC) which represents the northern St'at'imc Nations is one of the few Tribal Councils with a dedicated nation level Emergency Management Coordinator. Darryl Adrian, supports the six Northern St’at’imc communities with crises such as wildfires, floods, and pandemics, through Training and Cooperation. Guided by cultural sensitivity and the four emergency pillars — Mitigation, Preparedness, Response, and Recovery — the EMC works to strengthen community resilience and intergovernmental relations.
