My name is Roxx Ledoux, and I am the Natural Resources Coordinator for Ts’kw’aylaxw First Nation.

This year I will be taking the administrative lead for our Community Resiliency Investment (CRI) program, a provincial initiative in British Columbia designed to reduce wildfire risks and impacts through funding, support, and FireSmart™ initiatives.

Our team will be completing Critical Infrastructure Assessments, Culturally Significant and Green Space Assessments, and Home Assessments this year and next, opening up the FireSmart Rebate Program to homeowners and residents that have assessments and mitigation measures completed on their homes. TFN’s FireSmart crew looks forward to assisting our community in preparing for wildfires.
